The Sant Quirze del Vallès plant project, which will receive a subsidy of 2.1 million euros from the NextGenerationEU funds, will focus on offering the company’s clients flexible and integrated solutions for the development and manufacturing of custom biotechnology products, significantly reducing time and costs while ensuring high-quality standards.
To achieve this, Leanbio employs innovative technologies that cover all phases of the biological product development cycle, from strain and cell line generation to the final manufacturing stage. The expansion of its production capacity responds to the growing demand for projects worldwide, serving both large corporations and new emerging companies.
The project receives funding from the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan and is part of Component 12 and Investment 2, "Program for the promotion of industrial competitiveness and sustainability projects".
